Kristin Taylor - Office Manager

Kristin attended Western Michigan University and has been working at Ada Dental Co. for ten years.  Her and her husband have two children, two dogs, a cat and chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, having bonfires, and is a big soccer fan, with season passes to the Grand Rapids Football Club.  She really enjoys getting to meet so many nice people through her job and will always greet you with a smile.

Cristi Payton - Front Desk

Cristi received her associates degree from Davenport University and has worked in customer care since 1999. She joined the Ada Dental Co. team in 2022. In her spare time, Cristi finds joy in spending time with her husband, extended family and friends. She loves her dogs, reading, watching tennis, golf, and University of Michigan sports. She really enjoys welcoming patients to our office with a smile and providing a friendly experience. Making visitors to our office feel comfortable is her top priority.

Courtney Lynn - Dental Assistant

Courtney has been a valued member of Ada Dental Co., working side by side with Dr. Vogl, since 2015.  She attended Lansing Community College and Montcalm Community College.  In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her husband and her two daughters. The thing she enjoys most about her job is seeing a patient’s reaction when they see their new smile.

Kim Schmidt - Dental Assistant

Kim joined Ada Dental Co. in December of 2019. In 2009, she graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Grand Rapids Community College. She has enjoyed working in the dental community and thinks it's a great feeling to be able to put a smile on someone's face. When Kim is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also loves kayaking, hiking and going up north.

Michelle Roberts - Registered Dental Hygienist

Michelle graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree. She joined Dr. Vogl and the Ada Dental Co. team in April 2018. Michelle enjoys working out, yoga, playing volleyball and spending time with her family, friends and dog. As a dental hygienist, she takes pride in providing the highest quality care and comfort for patients, and making a positive impact on their oral health and overall well-being.

Amber Short - Registered Dental Hygienist

Amber attended Grand Rapids Community College where she received her RDH.  She started working at Ada Dental Co. in 2014 as a sub and we were so happy to have her join us as a permanent member of our team in 2016.  She is a proud mom and loves to spend her time camping and swimming with her family and her two dogs. Her favorite part of her job is meeting new patients and making them feel comfortable and confident with their dental care.

Abby Lane - Registered Dental Hygienist

Abby attended Grand Rapids Community College where she received her RDH. She joined the team in 2024. Abby’s hobbies include hiking, camping, kayaking, baking, horseback riding, and farming. She enjoys being a mom most of all. Abby enjoys building relationships with her patients and educating them on the importance of their overall oral health. She has extensive experience and advanced training in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide.  Although Abby has spent the majority of her career helping adults achieve optimal dental wellness, she is finding that her real passion is in providing care to children. Abby is excited to have a career that she loves and is grateful to be working with such an amazing team.

Taylor Batdorff - Registered Dental Hygienist

Taylor’s career path started in the beauty industry in 2010. After moving out of state briefly, she decided to come back to her hometown and pursue a degree in dental hygiene. She is certified in giving nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. Taylor feels the dental and beauty industry share similar attributes: working with a hands-on skill, developing lasting relationships with patients, and helping each patient leave her chair looking and feeling better than when they arrived. As a hygienist, providing a gentle and comfortable experience is her top priority. Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs.
